In order to create good images with highly reflective materials or extremely high magnifications, we require an additional light reflection to allow the light to impinge axially through the zoom onto the material (dark field illumination). This type of illumination is used for extremely reflective materials or for the measurement of micrographs and in the field of semiconductors. This unit with additionally required light guide (LL-Koax) and LED cold light source (KLQ-LED-11) is used in combination with the attachment lens 1.5x or 2x.
