DAkkS traceable calibration certificate for glass scales from 50 mm to 400 mm. Precision calibration according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 for metrology, laboratories and industrial quality control.
recision glass scales and optical precision scales form the basis of modern measurement systems used in industry, research and quality control. For applications with the highest requirements for accuracy and traceability, we offer DAkkS-traceable calibration certificates for glass scales of the 1972 series with measuring lengths of 50 mm, 100 mm, 200 mm, 300 mm and 400 mm.
Calibration is carried out by an accredited calibration laboratory in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. This ensures complete metrological traceability to national and international standards. The accreditation covers, among other areas, dimensional metrology and line scales.
The issued calibration certificate documents the measured values, measurement uncertainty and traceability to national standards. This makes calibrated glass scales particularly suitable for:
Depending on the design and measuring length, the line scales are calibrated using defined graduation intervals. The measurement uncertainty depends on the respective scale design and the accredited procedures of the calibration laboratory. The underlying calibration procedures and measuring ranges for line scales are part of the laboratory accreditation.
DAkkS-traceable calibration provides companies with a reliable basis for quality management systems according to ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and comparable standards, while supporting documented testing and calibration processes.
| Glass Scale | Graduation Marks | Measurement Uncertainty (MU) |
|---|---|---|
| 50 mm | 30 | U = 0.34 µm + 1.4·10⁻⁶·L |
| 100 mm | 30 | U = 0.34 µm + 1.4·10⁻⁶·L |
| 200 mm | 40 | U = 0.34 µm + 1.4·10⁻⁶·L |
| 300 mm | 50 | U = 0.34 µm + 1.4·10⁻⁶·L |
| 400 mm | 60 | U = 0.44 µm + 1.4·10⁻⁶·L |
Scale Graduation:
Note:
The measurement uncertainty U is calculated according to the formula specified in the calibration certificate, where L represents the measured length in millimeters.
The DAkkS calibrations offered at the stated prices are specifically designed for new glass scales of the 1972 series and are available exclusively in conjunction with their delivery. For recalibrations or the calibration of existing glass scales or scales not supplied by us, we will be pleased to provide you with an individual quotation upon request.
