The KITOCAM HDMI camera, which we supply in combination with our KITOZOOM zoom microscopes, is a perfect solution for retrofitting classic binocular or trinocular microscopes. For binoculars, we offer corresponding adapters in various optical magnifications and intermediate rings. For trinoculars, the HDMI camera is simply screwed onto the C-mount adapter.

Below you will find many technical details of the camera as well as an instruction manual for the camera and a very comprehensive instruction manual (English) for the software included in the scope of delivery. We would especially like to mention the possibility of transferring the camera's images to a PC via WIFI. However, the software supplied with the camera must be installed for this.

Basic functions: This camera is a CMOS camera with multiple interfaces (HDMI+WLAN+SD card, so "X" here stands for multiple interfaces) and autofocus function (F stands for autofocus). The camera's image selector is a CMOS sensor from Sony with ultra-high performance. HDMI + WLAN are used as a data transfer interface to an HDMI screen or computer. When using the HDMI output, XCamView is loaded and a camera control panel and toolbar are displayed on the HDMI screen. In this case, the USB mouse can be used to adjust the camera, search and compare captured images and play videos.

A sharp image can be easily achieved via the HDMI output using the built-in auto/manual focus function. Manual focusing via the coarse/fine adjustment knob on the microscope is not necessary. To use the WLAN output, disconnect the mouse from the device, plug in the USB WLAN adapter and connect the WLAN port of the computer to the camera. Now the video stream can be transferred to the computer using the state-of-the-art software. All-in-one camera (HDMI+WLAN) with C-mount and high-sensitivity CMOS sensor from Sony. Automatic/manual focus with sensor movement: For HDMI use, with integrated XCamView software in multiple languages. The camera function can be controlled with the USB mouse via XCamView. In addition, XCamView can be used to perform other basic processing and control functions.

1,920 × 1,080 (1,080p) - resolutions to match the current HD display on the market; support for plug-and-play application. For an HDMI application, a 2.0M (1,920 × 1,080) resolution image can be captured and stored. Videos can be recorded and saved as a 1.080P video stream (asf format). With the USB WLAN adapter, the camera can be used as a WLAN camera. State-of-the-art image processing software is used for playing videos and viewing photos. Plug-and-play application support. Ultra-fine colour engine with perfect colour reproduction capability (WLAN). With advanced video and image processing application software, including professional image processing functions such as 2D metering, HDR, image stitching, EDF (Extended Depth of Focus), image segmentation and frame counter, image stacking, colour composite and denoising (USB).

The camera meets the requirements of various applications and can be used in many fields of industrial inspection, education and research, material analysis, precision measurement, medical analysis etc. USBUSB mouse/USB WLAN adapter HDMIHDMI output DC12V12 V/1 A power input SDSD card slot ON/OFF on/off switch LED power indicator Other specification for HDMI output UI operation: With USB mouse for use with embedded XCamView Image capture: JPEG format with a resolution of 2 M on SD card Video recording: ASF format 1. 080p 30fps on SD card (8G) Camera control panel: Includes exposure, gain, white balance, colour correction, sharpness and noise reduction controls Toolbar: Includes zoom, mirror, compare, freeze, crosshair, browser function, multiple languages selectable, XCamView version information Other specification for WLAN output UI operation: software on Windows/Linux/OSX/Android platform WLAN performance: 802.11n 150 Mbps; RF power 20 dBm (maximum) Maximum number of connected devices: 3~6 (Depending on environment and connection distance) White balance: Auto white balance Colour technology: UltrafineTM colour engine (WLAN) API for image capture/controlStandard SDK for Windows/Linux/Mac(WLAN) Recording system: Still or movie (WLAN) Software environment (for USB 2. 0 connection) Operating system: Microsoft® Windows® XP / Vista /7/8/8.1/10 (32 and 64 bit) OSx (Mac OS X) Linux PC requirements: CPU: Equivalent to Intel Core2 2.8 or higher Memory: 4 GB or more USB port: USB 2.0 high-speed port (for power only, not for USB data transfer) Display: 19" or larger CD-ROM Operating Environment Operating Temperature: -10~50 Storage Temperature: -20~60 Operating Humidity: 30~80 % RH Storage Humidity: 10 ~ 60 % RH Power Supply: DC 12 V/1 A adapter
