The USB zoom microscopes of the KITOZOOM series are often installed in grinding machines as a replacement for profile projectors. The KITO-EB-LED version is the standard configuration with a 0.5x attachment lens and a simple, dimmable LED ring light with 98 LEDs. This type of camera is used, for example, for retrofitting Deckel S11 grinding machines.

The camera system is mounted on a precision guide in the length of 400 mm. A fine adjustment is provided on the guide for precise focussing. The complete unit can then be quickly screwed onto a self-made fixture. The industrial USB camera, built into a solid protective housing, is connected via a special 5-metre cable that is screwed to the cameras.

Another area of application is the upgrading of old microscope systems. If a microscope or video microscope is available in the company and the optical system is defective but the high-quality, heavy stand can still be used, the combination with the Kitozoom is ideal. Now, with a small investment, a good tripod can be used again.

Often, space problems or special characteristics of a test site are the reasons why a standard solution with a tripod cannot be used. Now the user can manufacture the fixture specifically for his testing task and only mounts the optics.

For the various measuring tasks, the system is combined with the Metric measuring software. We will be happy to provide you with special advice here. In the section stationary USB video microscopes you will find a detailed description of the optical system and the USB camera. Of course, other configurations with different fields of view, magnification and working distances are available. Please ask for the solution you require.

IMPORTANT: As it is not always necessary to use measuring software, the system is alternatively available with an industrial HDMI HD camera. Here you do not need a PC but only a PC monitor, preferably a 28" with HD resolution. Just connect the camera to the monitor via the HDMI cable supplied and you will get perfect images.
