If a microscope requires a travel range of the specimens of more than 150 x 150 mm, it can quickly become expensive. The positioning stages we offer, which are only available up to a size of 300 x 300, require special stands from a size of 200 x 200, so that the positioning stage and the video microscope have a secure stand.

 

That is why we now have a cheaper solution with gantry stands. The construction of solid aluminium elements is extremely easy to move. The Z-axis is adjusted with a threaded spindle with 1 mm pitch. 

 

Using this design in conjunction with the Kitozoom USB or HDMI series zoom microscope solves the problem of large travel ranges. In addition to the three standard sizes, we can offer you special dimensions on request. Please inform us of the travel distance in X and Y in relation to the optical centre of the video microscope.
