Peak Measuring Magnifier 1975 with 7x magnification, focusable and scale 0.1 mm with a measuring length of 20 mm

In stock (892) (Delivery time:1 - 2 working days)

Precision measuring magnifier with achromatic (colour error corrected), coated optics consisting of 3 elements and 2 assemblies. The measuring scale has a graduation of 0.1 mm and a measuring length of 20 mm. The contradiction between high resolving power and wide field of view has been completely eliminated in this product, providing powerful, precise control. For higher transmission, the lenses are coated with an AR coating (anti-reflective coating). The magnifier is supplied with the standard scale.

Magnification: 7x
Field of view: 24 millimetres
Size: 36 x 62 millimetres
Net weight: 56g

The standard scale shown is included with the loupe. In addition, scales in black (for light backgrounds) and in white (for dark backgrounds) can be purchased with this loupe.

In optics, an achromat is a system of two lenses consisting of glasses with different Abbe numbers (different degrees of dispersion). The system contains a converging lens (usually made of crown glass) and a diverging lens with a smaller Abbe number and thus stronger dispersion than the converging lens (usually made of flint glass). This allows the longitudinal colour error that every simple lens has to be corrected for two wavelengths, i.e. the system has the same cut-off for these two colours.
