Electronic module PM 225 (inductive) for version V7 and conversions from V4/V5/V6 to version V7

Please note: We do not supply the electronics for the length measuring system for self-assembly. Very precise adjustments must be made during assembly. Incorrect installation can very quickly cause damage to the electronics and the inductive tape. If the electronics are defective, please send the length measuring system in for repair.

Important notes: After receipt of your measuring device, it will first be completely checked for the functionality of the individual components. In this context, the device will be cleaned and test measurements will be carried out. You will then receive a quotation for any parts to be replaced, the labour time and the recalibration of the measuring system. This work will not be started until we have received written approval from you. After the replacement of defective parts, the measuring system is stored for 24 hours in the air-conditioned measuring room. At the end of this period, the factory test report is drawn up. Please allow approximately 14 days for delivery from the time we receive your order until it is shipped to you.

Please note that we will replace the outer packaging if we are of the opinion that safe transport in the old packaging is no longer guaranteed. If you send the Electronic Scale to us, please be sure to observe the following instructions:

  • Do not simply send the measuring system in the storage box
  • If possible, pack the measuring system in the original carton
  • Please do not use wooden boxes - we refuse to accept wooden boxes
  • Turn the magnifying glass all the way down
  • Fix the measuring slide on the right side by means of the clamping screw

Our customers sometimes ask, somewhat frustrated, why the electronics fail. In our experience, this is either due to incorrect operation by the user or dust contamination. The former happens due to improper operation of the two keys (much too hard, too long or too fast in succession) until the display crashes or some number is defined as "zero". In the second case, fine dust, chips, etc. get between the sensors and the induction band, which causes the sensors to be downright abraded. In this case, only regular cleaning of the wand will help to avoid this problem. In very rare cases, this is due to the age of the electronics (versions V3 or V4/V5).
