KITOZOOM: Optics and HDMI camera

The zoom system consists of the following components: zoom unit with 6.5x optical magnification, adapter, attachment lens, and C-mount adapter. In addition, there is the KITOCAM HDMI camera with autofocus function. You do not need an additional PC; simply connect the camera directly to a PC monitor with an HDMI input.

The system is mounted on a BM-15 precision guide with integrated fine adjustment.

A major advantage of the stepped zoom system is that the working distance (lens end to test piece) does not need to be changed within a zoom range. The distance is set at the highest magnification level and then remains the same for the entire zoom range. The KITOZOOM comes with an additional 0.5x attachment lens. This gives us two zoom ranges, which are completely sufficient in 95% of all cases. Four additional attachment lenses (0.25x, 0.75x, 1.5x, and 2.0x) are available for larger fields of view or higher magnifications.

This autofocus camera is a CMOS camera with multiple interfaces (HDMI + Wi-Fi + SD card) and autofocus function. The camera chip is a Sony CMOS sensor with ultra-high performance. HDMI and Wi-Fi are used as data transfer interfaces to an HDMI screen or computer. The HDMI output makes it easy to achieve a sharp image using the integrated autofocus function. Manual focusing using the coarse/fine adjustment knob on the microscope is therefore not necessary in most cases. The additional option of transferring the image to a PC via WLAN is very convenient. The necessary software for the PC is included in the scope of delivery.

With 0.25x attachment lens:
