Flat-Rate Handling Fee for Inspection and Quotation in Case of Declined Repair or Re-Calibration

€400,00 *

* Price without VAT - plus Shipping costs

Submitted Electronic Scales require inspection, fault analysis, and quotation preparation. If no repair or re-calibration order is placed, a flat-rate handling fee of EUR 400.00 net will be charged.

On backorder

As it occasionally occurs that, after submission of an Electronic Scale, no repair and/or re-calibration is commissioned, a considerable amount of labor, time, and material resources is required for inspection, evaluation, and quotation preparation.

The preparation of a repair or calibration quotation may include, in particular, the following services:

  • Goods receipt and handling, including unpacking and repacking of the devices
  • Incoming inspection and accuracy testing, including repeated measurements if results are unclear
  • Functional testing and fault analysis to identify defects or required repair measures
  • Preparation of a technical inspection report and detailed quotation
  • Necessary disassembly and reassembly work, including recommissioning where required
  • Preparation of shipping and accompanying documentation, including delivery notes and, where applicable, customs or trade documents
  • Organization of transport and logistics, including freight and shipping expenses

These services are performed regardless of whether a repair or calibration order is subsequently placed.

If a quotation for repair and/or re-calibration is declined or no order is placed, we therefore reserve the right to charge a flat-rate handling and inspection fee of EUR 400.00 net, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.

The flat-rate fee shall remain subject to proof of a higher or lower actual expense incurred.
