Zoom video microscope for visual inspection and quality control without PC. The HDMI camera with autofocus and 1920 x 1080 pixels offers magnifications from 8x to 450x.
To minimize the difficulty of choosing, we first inform you of the technical characteristics and operation of the optical system. In the following the three standard models plus the possible options are described. The demands on the optical system, lighting, stand and XY measurement table are a result of the inspection- or measuring job. We must take care here to use a magnification which is geared to the required inspection task. If the following information is insufficient for you to choose the system or find the correct components, please call us. We will be glad to help you put the correct model together.
A zoom system consists of the following components: a zoom unit with 6.5x optical magnification, an adapter, an extension tube, and a C-mount adapter. In addition, there is the KITOCAM HDMI camera with autofocus. You do not need an additional PC; instead, you connect the camera directly to a PC monitor with an HDMI input.
A major advantage of the ratchet zoom system is that the working distance (from the lens end to the test specimen) does not need to be adjusted within the zoom range. The distance is set at the highest magnification level and remains constant throughout the entire zoom range. The KITOZOOM package includes an additional 0.5x extension lens. This provides two zoom ranges that are perfectly sufficient in 95% of all cases. Four additional extension lenses—0.25x, 0.75x, 1.5x, and 2.0x—are available for larger fields of view or higher magnifications.
This autofocus camera is a CMOS camera with multiple interfaces (HDMI + Wi-Fi + SD card) and autofocus functionality. The camera chip is a high-performance CMOS sensor from Sony. HDMI and Wi-Fi are used as data transfer interfaces to an HDMI monitor or computer. Using the HDMI output, a sharp image can be easily achieved via the built-in autofocus function. Manual focusing using the coarse/fine adjustment knob on the microscope is therefore not necessary in most cases. The additional option to transfer the image to a PC via Wi-Fi is very convenient. The necessary software for the PC is included in the package.

KITO-20-HDMI
The KITO 20-HDMI model is a model with an integrated LED light panel that can be dimmed. The LED light plate is approx. 0.5 mm below the surface of the base plate. This model can be combined with our positioning tables and cross measuring tables. In production or quality control, there are always inspection tasks that only require a simple but precise distance measurement. The HDMI camera KITOCAM is able to display crosshairs in different colors and thicknesses. The crosshairs enable precise positioning of the zero point. The dial gauge is then zeroed and the cross table is moved using the dial gauge and the value is read off after the end point has been determined using the crosshairs. As the dial gauges have a data output, the values can be transferred reliably using an optional interface.
Please note that this configuration has an accuracy of ± 5 µm over the 50 x 50 mm. Alternatively, a cross measuring table with SCD system can be used, which offers an accuracy of ± 2 µm. Weight: 12 kg, dimensions: 580 x 400 x 550 - 670 mm.
