The CT series: These high-precision tool measuring devices have been developed for fast, non-contact measurement of drills, milling cutters, and cutting tools. Using a 5.6 megapixel color camera and zoom optics, the user achieves maximum image quality and, depending on the selected level, magnification of up to 150x. By using different attachment optics, the magnification can be increased up to 1,000 times on the screen. Precise measuring systems with 1 µm resolution and drive via ball screw and precision guides guarantee perfect measuring results.
The Metric measurement software enables all tool-specific features such as radii, angles, chamfer width, cross-cutting width, clearance angle, and lengths to be measured with the highest precision thanks to new image processing functions and automatic edge detection. Functions for measuring cooling channels and thread geometries are integrated into the software. The measurement results are conveniently and quickly transferred to Excel. Interfaces to QM systems such as Q-Stat are also integrated.
