The ES version can be upgraded at any time with a USB camera and the Metric BE software. Only the 10x magnifier has to be removed and the adapter of the camera system is plugged onto the acrylic ring. Since it is a USB 3.0 camera, the user needs a PC. The BE software and the USB camera driver are installed. Then the USB camera is plugged in and the Metric BE is started.
Different types of crosshairs in different colours and line widths can be set. The use of the USB camera is particularly recommended for extremely large numbers of measurements because of the ergonomic way of working.
In combination with the data cable for transferring the measured values to Excel, a very convenient and process-safe length measuring system is created.
