Areas of application:

The SM rod microscope is placed directly on the object to be examined. The possible applications of this small precision instrument are virtually unlimited. The basic model with 80x magnification is used in the graphics industry (raster point inspection), in the electronics industry (printed circuit board production) and in the textile industry (thread counting), as well as in many other areas of materials testing.

Design:

Focusing is achieved via a height-adjustable tube with a knurled sleeve, and the base has an integrated battery lamp. The mineral glass plate in the base is replaceable.

Measuring scales: Please note that the scale is built into the eyepiece on the 25x and 50x models and into the base on the 80x and 100x models. Caution: The microscopes with 80x and 100x magnification and a reticle in the base can only be used on soft, non-metallic surfaces, as the scales would otherwise be scratched immediately!
