The three models in the KITOZOOM series offer precisely these features.
To minimize the agony of choice, we will first inform you about the technical features and operation of the optics. The three standard models and the possible options are described below. The requirements for the optics, lighting, stand and cross table are determined by the test or measurement task. We must ensure that we use a magnification that is oriented to the required measuring accuracy. KITOZOOM: Optics and USB camera
A zoom system consists of the following components: Zoom unit with 6.5x optical magnification, adapter, attachment lens and C-mount adapter. There is also a matching USB camera. In order to be able to work precisely with the Metric measuring software, we need to be able to set the individual zoom levels reproducibly. For this reason, the zoom unit has six spherical recesses into which a spring-loaded ball can engage when turned. The steps marked by numbers are created as “lenses” in the Metric software and calibrated and saved using a reticle with a certificate.
A major advantage of the detent zoom system is that the working distance (lens end to test specimen) does not have to be changed within a zoom range. The distance is set at the highest magnification level and then remains the same for the entire zoom range. An additional 0.5x attachment lens is included with the KITOZOOM. This gives us two zoom ranges that are completely sufficient in 95 % of all cases. Four additional attachment lenses 0.25x, 0.75x, 1.5x and 2.0x are available for larger fields of view or higher magnifications. The USB 3.0 camera with 5.6 Mpx, 1/2”, color offers a resolution of 2600 × 2160 pixels. Below are the fields of view, magnifications and working distances (the magnification refers to a 24” monitor):

KITO-10-USB
The KITO-10-USB model consists of the KITOZOOM zoom unit with USB camera, an LED ring light with dimming, the height adjustment by means of a rack and pinion system, which offers quick and fine adjustment, and the base plate. This 400 x 250 mm plate is made of 20 mm face-milled and anodized aluminium. The height of the feet on the base plate can be adjusted and fixed individually. Weight: 10 kg, dimensions: 400 x 250 x 550 - 670 mm.

KITO-20-USB
The KITO-20-USB model is a model with an integrated LED light panel that is dimmable. The LED light plate is approx. 0.5 mm below the surface of the base plate. This model can be combined with our positioning tables and cross measuring tables.

KITO-40-USB
The KITO-40-USB model is a complete configuration with a separately height-adjustable positioning table. The adjustment range is 80 x 60 mm. Fine height adjustment is carried out via the cross table unit. The KITO 40 is an ideal solution for simple, fast positioning of small parts. We offer an optional rotary table for the KITO 40, which is simply inserted into the opening of the cross table. The glass insert plate of the cross table is then used for the rotation table. However, we would like to point out that for very fine positioning tasks in the 0.01 mm range, it makes more sense to use a KITO 10 model with a corresponding precision cross table.
